OUr Troop

About our Troop

BSA Troop 452 is sponsored CASA (Chinese American Scouting Association) located in SVMBC (Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council) under the Polaris District. We are primarily located in Cupertino/West San Jose, California. Our troop consists of multiple patrols as well as staff members. Every other week, we will have a troop meeting on Tuesday evening where everyone comes together to make announcements for future events, as well as engage in fun activities as a troop. We also have monthly weekend overnight campouts, each having their own unique activity. The scouts then have the opportunity to sleep under the stars. On the last Tuesday of every month, we will have our PLC meeting (Patrol Leader Conference). All scouts with a leadership position will gather to reflect on past events and discuss for future events. Every 3 months, we have a COH (Court of Honor). Here, we distribute patches and hand out various awards to scouts who have accomplished something in the past term. We have much more to offer as a troop but this is just a quick summary.
